Course Content


  • Basic theory of Fire and First Aid Fire Fighting.
  • Viewing of a number of Fire Training videos.
  • Fire in the workplace.
  • Practical experience in use of different types of Fire Extinguishers.
  • An Enviro gas system will be used for igniting fires.
  • Fire Evacuation.
  • Fire Warden Training.
  • Fire Controller
  • Kitchen Fire Suppression System Safety.
  • Question and answers.
  • Course written validation test.

Duration


  • Approx 2 - 2.5 hours
  • A maximum of 14 people recommended for each training session.

Facilities required from Customer


  • Conference room with power point and table for TV/Video.
  • A designated area to carry out the practical training which will involve lighting some small fires and extinguishing them with Fire Extinguishers. It is important that this area is free from any Fire Hazards such as oil spillages etc.
  • All participants must have safety goggles for the practical session. These can be provided if necessary.
  • All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate.
